IRCA has been a long time supporter of ICTV, providing auspicing support from 2006 to 2008.  IRCA is the peak body for remote Indigenous media organisations and there are many areas of shared interest between the IRCA and ICTV inlcuding several board members and the premises at 10a Wilkinson Street, Alice Springs.

Ngaanyatjarra Media Association (NG Media)

Ngaanyatjarra Media Aboriginal Corporation (NG Media) has been operating  now for 16 years  and has its central hub  in Irrunytju (Wingellina).  Ngaanyatjarra Media  provides media and broadcasting support to 14 communities in remote Western Australia. Two NG Media Committee members sit on the ICTV Board of Directors.

Pilbara and Kimberly Aboriginal Media
(PAKAM)

PAKAM operates a satellite delivered community radio and television Network, in the Pilbara and Kimberley lands of Western Australia.  PAKAM retransmits in over twenty remote communities, provides technical advice and services,  and delivers training and production support to members.  Three PAKAM members currently sit on the ICTV Board of Directors.


PY Media
PY Media

PY Media started as Ernabella Video and Television (EVTV) in the early 1980s in Ernabella community (Pukatja), north-western South Australia. EVTV was initiated as a way to curb the saturation of commercial TV services with the launch of AUSAT. EVTV became the place to go to document or record culture or anything that was of interest to the individual.In 1987, members of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands decided that it was necessary to develop the same services provided by EVTV in all communities across the APY Lands. PY Media was incorporated as the regional body to assist communities to develop theirown community media centres. In the mid 1990s PY Media moved out of Ernabella to Umuwa toset up a regional office that enabled fair representation for all communities on the APY Lands.

PAW Media & Communications

PAW Media andCommunications is a non-profit community organisationmanaged by anAboriginal Board. PAW Media and Communications was one of thefirst AboriginalTV broadcaster in Australias. Starting in 1983 asWarlpiri MediaAssociation, PAW Media began operations in Yuendumu andnow providesservices to fourteen communities ranging from Kintore inthe westthrough to Lajamanu in the north , Ali Curung and PmaraJutunta to theeast. PAW Media stands for the three language areas itrepresents,namely Pintubi, Anmatjere and Warlpiri.

ARDS

ARDS is an Indigenous organisation committed to working with and empowering Yolgnu people of north-east Arnham Land.  They specialise by deliverig their service in the local Indigenous languages.  The ARDS programs that screen on ICTV's weekend television service are available for puchase in DVD format, alongs with an array of other language and educations resources produced by ARDS.  To view these resources and find out more about the work that ARDS does, follow the link to their website.
